How does House & Garden Shooting Powder work?
House & Garden Shooting Powder contains a balanced formula of Phosphorous and Potassium (PK) which plants need to grow a new layer of fruit, providing added density and weight during the maturation stage. Interestingly, this complements the existing fruit without causing it to degrade in quality, flavour or aroma.
For this to occur, phosphorus plays an essential role in the photosynthesis process; helping to produce oils, starches and sugars. As well as being a maturation facilitator, phosphorus is a stress reducer that can facilitate fast growth to boost flower and root development.
The Potassium content in Shooting Powder improves nutrient absorption and the ability to cope with colder temperatures. It also helps to form essential sugars, starches and carbohydrates needed for protein synthesis and cell division.
How to use House & Garden Shooting Powder
In our experience, the recommended House & Garden Shooting Powder dosage is one sachet for every 100-litre reservoir.
Before use, reduce the base nutrient EC to 1.2 and adjust pH as normal.
Ideally, it should be used in the first week of the last 3-week period of the flowering stage.
For the last 2 weeks of flowering stage, use 2 sachets for every 100-litre reservoir.
Do not use alongside other additives or boosters with any NPK value or it may cause over fertilisation.
