Mykos mycorrhizae is a natural organic species of beneficial soil fungi that collects and stores nutrients and water, increasing the uptake of both. This single species of arbuscular mycorrhizal contains only Rhizophagus intradices and does not contain any other microbes such as trichoderma or ecto-mycorrhizae.
Mykos is a fast growing, beneficial fungi that breaks down and retains nutrients providing plants with a balanced intake of food, moisture and assists in the defence of pathogens and diseases. Mykos is fast working and creates strong roots in 93% of common plants, it is a single species of endo mycorrhizal fungi so there is no root competition. Endo mycorrhizae is used as Ecto mycorrhizae has no benefits to vegetables, fruits, flowers or herbs.
Mycorrizal propagules are an average count of spores, hyphae, and root fragments per gram. The more propagules that are available per gram decreases the amount of inoculant required to achieve successful root colonisation.
Mykos helps new plantings , reducing transplant shock by encouraging root growth and making more nutrients available.
